Bart Van Troyen restores old musettes and makes new ones. Every instrument is completely handmade in his workshop, from bits of wood, silver, and leather. There are many models to choose from, in all kinds of wood and with different ornaments. The most versatile instrument is the 18th century Chédeville musette in G/C, with 2 chanters, 12 keys and 5 slides on the shuttle drone. If you like a more mellow tone, and love to play folk music too, ask about the musette d’amore in modern D.
